Like other R. John Wright Kewpies®, these authentic, licensed, Rose O'Neill characters are constructed of the finest all-wool felt which is molded, sewn, stuffed, and delicately hand-painted. Standing 6" tall, each is five-way jointed for poseability and include the trademark tiny blue Kewpie wings on the shoulders. These are the perfect 'cabinet-size' Kewpies!

The Poppy Kewpie® (shown at left in photo) is outfitted in a costume inspired by the brilliant poppy flower. Her dress is made of felt poppy petals with molded ridges, black fringe, with a flaming red/orange silk underskirt. She also has a large varigated pure silk bow at her back. Her headband has intricately constructed poppy buds and leaves made entirely of felt.

Her dapper companion, Peeper Kewpie®, is a delightful bug dressed in formal attire. His costume includes a padded breastplate topped by a swallow-tailed jacket made of midnight blue felt and a silk bow tie. He wears felt spats on his feet and on his head is a molded cap with felt antennae.

Poppy and Peeper were made in editions of 250 pieces. Each came enclosed in a custom-made hinged presentation case lined in silk with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration.
