Like other R. John Wright Kewpies®, these authentic, licensed, Rose O'Neill characters are constructed of the finest all-wool felt which is molded, sewn, stuffed, and delicately hand-painted. Standing 6" tall, each is five-way jointed for poseability and include the trademark tiny blue Kewpie wings on the shoulders. These are the perfect 'cabinet-size' Kewpies!

The Lula Kewpie® flower (shown at right) is outfitted in a costume inspired by the lovely magnolia blossom. Her elaborate headpiece is made of felt magnolia petals with her face surrounded by rows of felt fringe. The headpiece is backed with felt leaves and a wired stem. Lulu's flirty skirt is made of painted and wired double felt leaves.

Her companion, Luna Kewpie® bug (shown at left), is based on the exotic beauty of the lunar moth. His costume is made of wool plush coating material and consists of a jumpsuit and separate hat with felt antennae. His outfit is topped with a pair of spectacular wings made of pieced felt which has been artistically airbrushed and layered with irridescent organdy.

Lulu and Luna were the only black Kewpies in the collection. Each was made in limited edition of 250 pieces and came enclosed in a deluxe custom-made hinged presentation case with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration.
