This handsome little fellow named "Simon" was the fourth issue in the "Toddler Bears" series of cubs dressed in vintage-style children's clothing.
Made entirely of the finest custom-made black mohair plush with skillful airbrush coloration, Simon measures 10 1/2 inches tall standing. He is fully jointed and features a molded felt nose, inset black glass eyes, and detailed felt paw pads with inserted claws.
Simon is outfitted in a wonderful 2-piece shortsuit consisting of a blouse made of fine white-on-white imported English cotton shirting with yellow piping detail and a peter pan collar trimmed with ruffles. The shorts - which attach to the shirt at the waist with suspenders - are made of butter yellow cotton broadcloth with mother-of-pearl buttons.
Simon was limited to 250 pieces worldwide. Each bear came beautifully boxed with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration.
