The R. John Wright "Baby Bear Collection" is an exciting bear series which premiered in 1999 and consisted of five original RJW cubs: Panda; Brown Bear; Black Bear; Polar Bear; and Koala. Each cub measures 12² tall and is fully jointed for playful posing. Extensively researched, each of the Baby Bears feature true-to-life details such as felt paw pads, inserted resin claws, realistic coloring and glass eyes. Each cub holds an edible which is indigenous to their species handcrafted out of wool felt.
"Nippy", the third issue in the R. John Wright Collection, is the darling little polar cub. He is constructed of the finest white mohair and wool plush with airbrush shading and features a molded felt nose, an open mouth with a felt tongue, and glass pupil eyes. Nippy comes holding a freshly caught fish made of felt with glass eyes and airbrushed details. Nippy is the only RJW polar bear edition and was an exclusive edition for CAMPBELL'S COLLECTIBLES, in Crown Point, Indiana. Produced in an edition of 500 pieces, each polar cub arrived in itıs own hand-cut presentation box with a signed Certificate of Authenticity, a descriptive booklet, and the forms for owner registration.
