We are pleased to present "Mustardseed" - the enchanting souvenir doll from the Once Upon A Time 2018 R. John Wright Convention which celebrated classic FAIRY TALES.
"Mustardseed" was one of the little fairies in Williams Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Brought to life in the form of a lovely young girl, she is made entirely of the finest all-wool felt in a sculptural seated position. She measures just 5 inches tall. Her molded felt head has been beautifully hand painted and she has a wig of the finest mohair. She is jointed at the shoulders and at the neck with a ball & socket for expressive posing. Her graceful hands have tiny separately-sewn fingers.
Mustardseed is costumed for a dance recital in a one-piece leotard made of cotton jersey. A frothy tull skirt, felt flower embellishments, and silk slippers, and silk organza wings complete her charming ensemble.
Mustardseed is produced in Bennington, Vermont in a worldwide limited edition of only 100 pieces. Each comes enclosed in a deluxe RJW presentation box with the accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for registration.
