We are pleased to present "Contadina" - the latest addition to the charming series of costumed dolls and animal characters from Around the World. "The Gondolier" was introduced at a special ticketed meal event "The Canals of Venice" which took place at the fourth annual R. John Wright Convention.
The Gondolier's charming companion, Contadina is a lovely Italian mouse measuring a diminutive 3" tall. She is made of the finest mohair plush and jointed at the neck and shoulders and features realistic coloring, black glass eyes, inset whiskers, and resin hands and feet.
Inspired by the traditional costume of the Italian peasant women, Contadina is outfitted in an elaborate dress with separate sleeves. The laced bodice is followed by a triple-tiered skirt of silk, striped pima cotton, and fine val lace imported from France. Silk trims, a jaunty felt hat, and hand-cobbled fabric covered high heel slippers complete her delightful period ensemble.
Do not hesitate! The Gondolier's charming female companion is likewise limited to only 100 pieces worldwide. Each mouse will come inside a deluxe RJW presentation box with the accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration.
