Warning! Be prepared for anything.... Spirits, Goblins, Witches, and the Shivers! Come join us at "The Haunted Mansion" - the 2019 R. John Wright Convention. The dates are June 20-22 and the exciting venue is the forbidding Everett Mansion (shown above) located on the grounds of Southern Vermont College in Bennington, Vermont. Beware! The Everett Mansion is notorious for its ubiquitous Ghosts!
To provide a safe haven for attendees we have booked rooms at a special convention rate at the nearby HAMPTON INN (Phone: 802-440-9862). A fleet of shuttle busses will provide local transportation from the the hotel to the convention site just 5 minutes away. Convenient bus transportation to and from the Albany Airport will also be available at special low rates.
In historic Bennington, Vermont, your visit to the R. John Wright Dolls facility will give you added appreciation for all that goes into making the famed RJW dolls and animals. In the actual production areas our team will show you up-close how our products are made. Meanwhile, John and Susan Wright will conduct tours of the RJW Design Studio where you will get a sneak-peek of items currently in development. The RJW Salesroom will feature rare archival editions and exclusive vintage accessories and materials not found anywhere else.
Back at the Everett Mansion there will be a variety of spooky events with themed souvenirs for collectors of every persuasion. Event souvenirs and companion pieces will be available for separate purchase at special introductory prices. ALL meals and admission to the themed events are included with your registration fee. A convention highlight will be a "Murder Mystery meal event, inspired by the rumored turbulent history of the Everett family in the late 1800s. Did Amy Everett, Edward's first wife, meet her end in a freak "accident" or was it... murder?! Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their best Victorian finery.
Exclusive breakout workshops will be held at the nearby Bennington Art Center. There will also be short excursions to other interesting Bennington destinations. The convention will wrap with a frightening Masked Ball and the presentation of the main Souvenir Doll ($750 value) to all fully-registered guests.

LIMITED REGISTRATION - This option includes all the benefits of a Full Registration except the final souvenir doll. Adults and children between the ages of 9-18 are eligible for a Limited Registration.
